Danbi Lee, Principal @ MAPWRK
Danbi is a is a geospatial technology leader with 17 years of experience building innovative geospatial products for diverse industries. She has led product development at Niantic Labs (creators of Pokémon GO) and Google Maps Platform, creating immersive 3D maps and user-generated geospatial data platforms. With a background in urban planning and GIS, Danbi has also driven technology adoption in the public sector through her work as a digital consultant at Arup and the City of Toronto. She is passionate about innovation in information design and map epistemology.
Nick Lempesis
Nick is a freelance engineer with 8 years of experience, blending cartography, geospatial and fullstack web development. He loves making map apps and taking diverse digital products from concept to delivery. He has worked on B2B and B2C cartography at Outdooractive and has published geospatial research on remotely sensed urban analytics. He still has not built the map he originally intended!
